James Kent

James Kent founded his pottery company in 1897 in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England.

In contrast to other British porcelain companies, James Kent did not engage in mergers and acquisitions for decades.

His factory was in the Foley district, so I think he used the trading name "Old Foley".

In the late 2000s, the company closed.
