CROWN DEVON

The company was founded around 1870 by Samuel Fielding and his sons in Sutherland Street, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.

The company was originally known as S. Fielding & Co., but the Crown Devon(Devon Pottery) name came into general use in the early 1900s.

The company's history includes several mergers and changes in ownership. In the mid-20th century, Crown Devon was acquired by the A.G. Richardson & Co. Ltd. The company continued to produce ceramics and porcelain under various brand names, including Crown Devon, until it ceased production in 1980s.
