CICO

CICO was a German trading company that operated around 1950.

The company bought wares from two notable porcelain factories in Bavaria: C. Schumann (Arzberg, Bavaria) and Heinrich & Co.

CICO pottery was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s, and it is still collected today.

Cover up mark

Cover up: A cover up backmark is a type of backmark that is used to hide the original backmark on a piece of porcelain. This is often done by applying a new backmark over the top of the original one.
